wölkli Cloud Storage allows you or your business to securely back up, synchronise and share your files via your desktop computer, smartphone or tablet device from all around the world. Here is a non-exhaustive list of wölkli's main features.
Your files are stored securely and redundantly in Switzerland, in our modern and self-owned data centre.
Access your data from anywhere around the globe. You only need a device capable of connecting to the Internet. Like that, you do not need to carry your laptop everywhere you go.
Access your wölkli account via your desktop or laptop, using wölkli's web interface, WebDAV or by installing the cross-platform software.
Access your wölkli account via your smartphone or tablet (iOS, Android and BlackBerry devices), using wölkli's web interface or by installing the mobile application.
Synchronise your data among your devices, such as computers, tablets and smartphones. Using the desktop client, you can choose which files/folders you wish to synchronise locally on your computer; the others will still be safely stored on our servers.
Share the files you want with the people you want, whether they also have a wölkli account or not.
Every communication to and from our servers through the Internet is secured, thanks to the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol, also known as Secure Socket Layers (SSL).
Your files are stored encrypted on our storage servers using the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES 256), to ensure that nobody —including us— can read your data, except of course yourself.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) provides additional protection to your account against unauthorized access, by requesting both a password and a TOTP key (Time-based One-Time Password) in order to log in.
As your files are encrypted with your own private encryption key, neither we nor anyone else can have access to the content of your files. Furthermore, we do not share any personal information you provide us with third-parties.
Save and synchronise your calendar among your devices, so that you never happen to miss an important appointment.
Save, organise and synchronise your contacts between your desktop and mobile devices, so that you can always keep in touch with those that matter to you.
With WebDAV there is no need to install any additional software. Your account is mounted as a remote drive, so that you can have access to all your files, without having to download them locally. This can be very useful when your local drive capacity is limited.
Create, edit and synchronise tasks, set reminders, mark tasks as important and add comments to them. Tasks can be shared among users that belong to the same private wölkli installation (not available in single-user accounts).
Create, save, view and share photo galleries with family, friends or work colleagues.
Save your notes, shopping lists, links and much more. Sort, categorise, and even format them using the Markdown language. Since your notes are stored as plain text in your cloud files, they can be easily synced among your devices, so that you can carry them with you wherever you go.
If you happen to mistakenly delete a file or folder from your wölkli account, you have the possibility to recover it from the 'Deleted Files' folder.
Connect and use one or multiple e-mail accounts via wölkli's web interface. Add e-mail attachments from your wölkli files or save them on the cloud to free up some of your limited e-mail storage. Sending and receiving encrypted e-mails is also supported.
If you have a wölkli PRO account (i.e. Levels CB, C2, C3 and C4), apart from the features described above, you also get to enjoy the following additional features:
With a PRO account, you have access to telephone support during working hours and e-mail support.
Find older versions of your documents and recover them.
Share your calendar with other members of the same installation, and give them access to view your appointments.
Create, save, view and share photo galleries. Give to the people of your choice permission to download your photos, upload their own photos to your gallery and share the gallery with other members of the same installation.
Save, manage and access your bookmarks from anywhere in the world. With the use of the Bookmarklet, adding a new bookmark via your web browser is just one click away!

Deck is a kanban-style organisation tool ideal both for personal planning and project organization for teams. Deck is designed to visualise and manage work in progress and to maximize efficiency, by helping individuals and teams get the work done.
If you have a private (multi-user) wölkli installation (i.e. Levels C5, C6 and C7), you are free to decide which features you would like to enable.
With a multi-user installation, you have access to telephone support during working hours and e-mail support.
Your files are scanned using ClamAV to protect your devices against viruses, trojans etc (optional feature).
wölkli can integrate with your company's existing directory service. For example, users can be authenticated against one or more LDAP directories in place of or in addition to local users. Additionally, users can authenticate themselves using single sign-on (SSO) via SAML, OAuth2, Kerberos and others.
Leverage wölkli's powerful Application Programming Interface (API) and access the data of your private installation directly, for instance through your own web application using a REST API.
With a private installation you can use your company's or association's logo and custom design on wölkli's web interface, as well as your own domain name, such as cloud.my-company.ch, in order to access it.
For your private multi-user wölkli installation, you can choose from a wide variety of plug-ins, known as 'apps', including but not limited to those described above.
